Tapahtumien kuvaus: On Epiphany, 6.1.1942, Detective Håkansson and Lammentaus were going to arrest Martti Koivistoinen, a notorious communist and saboteur. Koivistoinen managed to pull out a pistol and began shooting at the policemen. Håkansson and Lammentaus were both hit. Koivistoinen ran into the street, where he encountered Constable Yrjö Siren. Assuming that Siren would try to arrest him, Koivistoinen shot him, inflicting serious wounds. Koivistoinen was arrested the following evening. Håkansson never fully recovered from his wounds and died one year later. Nils Håkansson had served in the main division of the Detective Central Police since 1922.
