Tapahtumien kuvaus: Provincial Detective Usko was on his way back to Helsinki from an assignment in Hanko. While he and his colleagues were on the train, they decided to inspect the luggage of the other passengers. When the train had departed from Kirkkonummi Station, they found five bottles of whiskey in a bag. Usko announced that they would seize the bottles and arrest the passenger. Suddenly the passenger stabbed Usko three times with a knife, killing Usko instantly. The killer went out between the railroad cars and jumped off the train. The local Sheriff was informed as soon as the train reached Masala, and the perpetrator, a seaman named Viktor Henrik Juntunen, was arrested near the village Bobäck.
