Tapahtumien kuvaus: In the village of Petkula, there was a house whose owner had been a member of the Red Guard during the Civil War. Soviet spies came to the house to pick up milk and other necessities. Based on a tip from the mistress of the house, the police decided to investigate the matter. A patrol of three officers from the police in Sodankylä went to look for the spies and spotted them east of the river Kitinen in the vicinity of Petkula. The spies shot Constable Harju. One of the spies was arrested, another one was killed during the arrest.
