Tapahtumien kuvaus: Police Constables August Siik and Henry Keskitalo were patrolling in Ravansaari, Vyborg on 14.10.1922. They encountered four soldiers from the nearby coastal artillery. The soldiers were intoxicated and causing a disturbance. The policemen asked them to calm down. Three of the soldiers left as instructed, but the fourth one, Matti Kallonen, pulled out a knife with which he stabbed Siik in the abdomen and Keskitalo in the chin. Kallonen fled into the forest, and the two police officers were unable to pursue him since they were wounded. They sent their police dog after Kallonen, but he managed to get away. Kallonen was arrested at night when he returned to his garrison. The wounded policemen were taken to the provincial hospital. Keskitalo was soon able to leave the hospital, but Siik, whose wounds were more severe, remained hospitalised and died on October 26th.
