Tapahtumien kuvaus: On the evening of 28.12.1946, 19-year-old Keijo Oskari Lamberg was on his way to the cinema. At Mikonkatu 13, Constable Friström reprimanded him for disturbing the peace. Lamberg suddenly drew a pistol that he was carrying in his pocked and shot at Friström. Despite being wounded, Friström managed to arrest Lamberg. Another police officer took Lamberg into custody while Friström took a taxi to the Surgical Hospital for treatment. While hospitalised, Friström was awarded the Cross of Merit of the Police on 3.1.1947. However, he died two days later on 5.1.1947. Friström had been a police officer since July 1916.
