Tapahtumien kuvaus: On 21.8.1929 at 10 am, a director named Salomon Konsky ran over Sergeant Antti Lagerroos at the corner of Vähä-Hämeenkatu and Uudenmaankatu. Lagerroos was standing on the sidewalk talking with a constable when Konsky’s car hit him before crashing into a wall. Konsky had previously applied for a driving licence, but the Turku Police Department had rejected his application due to his poor eyesight. However, Konsky had submitted another application in Pori and been granted a licence. Sergeant Lagerroos never fully recovered from his injuries and died of a heart attack on 30.9.1930. Lagerroos had been a police officer since 1916.
