Tapahtumien kuvaus: On 28.9.1930, a drunken man named Aarne Kumpulainen was disturbing the peace outside of his stepfather’s house in the village Launonen in Loppi. Sergeant Teinilä was sent to calm him down. Teinilä asked Kumpulainen to hand over his pocket pistol. Kumpulainen refused, and during the ensuing struggle, Kumpulainen’s weapon went off, and a bullet hit Teinilä in the abdomen. Teinilä died at the Surgical Hospital in Helsinki. Teinilä had been a police officer since 1911.
